Newfrontiers in India

The Newfrontiers  family of churches in India  is spread across the nation from Kerala in the south to Punjab in the north. And from Maharashtra in the west to Meghalaya in the north-east. Over 30 churches and church plants of this growing family are committed to:

Building Churches

With over a billion people, the churches we build need to be full of grace and vision. Every local church is passionately pursuing this goal. Large cities need large churches and many are caught with and are pressing toward the vision of building BIG churches.

Doing Mission

Over 65% of India is rural and God is on the move here too. Mission trips to various locations (or nations within this nation) continue to stir our faith and keep our vision clear. We don't want to remain in our Jerusalem, we want to go to our Judea, our Samaria and God willing to the uttermost parts of the earth. Mission trips to Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh are being planned.

Hosting Events

Local church family camps, the large Leadership Conference "Together on a Mission" planned for October 2008 and "Wired to Christ" the youth camp and Marriage Enrichment camps held each year all help build a sense of togetherness on this mission.  Powerful ministry of the Spirit on the back of Spirit-anointed teaching is preparing an army of God.

Training Leaders

Central training programmes like Equipping Leadership Training Program (ELTP), Masih Siddanth (Hindi program) and Preach the Word are serving the churches. A wholesome mix of biblical theology, practical teaching and mentoring in the local church are helping prepare tomorrow's leaders today.

Serving with the Poor

Many churches in India have members from poor families and/or serve the poor through many projects. To show the love of Christ and to enroll them in the mission to tell the world about his love is the goal of these works of service.
