Front Edge in India

Jesus proclaimed the year of the Lord’s favour – and then ‘made it happen’! He transformed lives, healed bodies, taught multitudes and provided the sacrifice for sin when he died on the cross. He has thus purchased for us a full, eternally secure salvation and, having been raised from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father, he now sends this same Spirit that Isaiah spoke of.

In a mighty way, then, Jesus proclaimed the year of God’s favour and effected it. As a result, we are enabled to walk into the favour of God – indeed the year of God’s favour – with an expectation of seeing the goodness of God poured out upon us and through us to others.
To know the favour of a true friend is precious; to know the favour of those who are influential and who can make things happen is an advantage; but to know the favour of Almighty God is an unsurpassable privilege which we ought never to forget. May 2008 be to you a year of the Lord’s favour!

Milton and Wilma, in Mumbai, worshipping the Lord at Living Hope Church. It was deeply moving to witness their faith and to be touched by both their suffering and their trust in God’s goodness. Their son, Datsun, tragically passed away as a result of a road accident a few months ago.

Jason had a burn above his right ankle from a motorcycle exhaust. He had been to the doctor on two occasions and had even that morning been to see him again. His ankle was swollen and wet. He said the pus and water were running down and he was in terrible pain.

During the opening prayer he suddenly felt a flame of heat shoot down his ankle … he quickly looked down … the swelling had disappeared, the pain had completely gone and the wet sore had totally dried up! When we looked at it you could see the red ointment he had put on it but it was no longer swollen and completely dry. He was absolutely thrilled.

There were a further nine people who came forward to give testimony to healing at the time. One of them, Conisa, had been in a terrible bus crash a year ago. The bus had literally been split in two and the passengers in the seat in front of her and behind her had lost their lives. She miraculously survived although she suffered a broken leg. As a result of the break she has endured pain ever since. But the pain went instantly at the meeting! Hallelujah!

Robin, who leads the team at Holy Trinity Church, welcomed the people at Front Edge Kerala. The first event in their brand new building!

After a general prayer of faith at the beginning of the meeting, immediately fourteen people came to testify of instant healings. Praise the Lord! After the message it was wonderful to see another twenty come forward.
