"I am a member of Godfirst Church in Johannesburg, South Africa, and was saved shortly after the church was started about twelve months ago. Since then I have enjoyed being a part of this special family.
We were privileged to be visited by Lex Loizides last year. I was looking forward to the service with great anticipation, having never witnessed a faith healer in practice. For about eight or nine months I had excruciating pain in my left arm. I could not lift it higher than about 45° which, having two small children who required picking up and driving around, became very frustrating. The diagnosis was a frozen shoulder. I had manipulation under anesthetic, which helped to relieve the pain but still left me unable to raise my arm higher than 90°. I had been advised to avoid having an operation where they scrape the shoulder cap to make more room for the movement of the tendons and was content to remain with it as it was.

Lex asked if there was anyone present with a shoulder problem. I was flabbergasted! He came and prayed for me and instantaneously I could lift my arm all the way to the heavens!

I felt no pain at all, just rusty joints! In fact, in my excitement, I rather stupidly started to swing my arm in 360° circles. Since that day it has not troubled me again. What a wonderful gift, thank you Lex, and praise God!"

"For the last six years I’ve had pain in all my leg joints from a lack of cartilage, which causes my bones to rub holes in each other. This meant I was in constant pain with it getting worse when I was involved in exercise, and sometimes my legs locked into a bent position if I sat down for too long. At the age of fifteen, I was competing in national level gymnastics but was told by doctors that if I didn’t stop training at that level I would be in a wheelchair by the age of twenty-one. For years I would take any opportunity for prayer for my legs to be healed but nothing ever happened.
When I arrived at the meeting I had a nervous feeling in my stomach. I felt God was saying that He would heal me if I’d let Him, and I suddenly realised that I wasn’t too sure how comfy I’d be if this problem went (sounds strange, I know, but I’m just so used to it and I knew that once healed I’d have to tell people!)

When the last chance for healing came, I went forward. My friend, who has known me and prayed for me for years, came forward to pray for me. God completely healed me!"
 
Update:
"I’m in the second semester of a dance degree that doctors told me I would be unable to do, and I haven’t had any problems! It really is amazing what God has done for me. It seems so long ago that I used to be in constant pain. My faith, not only for healing but for answered prayer in general, has grown and I love seeing how God answers my prayers – be they big or small! I’m training hard for the Bedford Race for Life and planning to run the full three miles. This is something I couldn’t have even walked without being in pain before God healed me. Isn’t that exciting!"
