Let's Go! In Wrexham

Read about the launch of the church plant in Wrexham through their ‘Let’s Go!’ week in August.

The end of August 2007 saw an invasion in Wrexham of nearly 100 volunteers from Newfrontiers churches across the region. Using the university accommodation and main building as a base, the ‘Let’s Go!’ team significantly raised the profile of Gateway Church in the town. Each day started with worship and training before moving into activities reaching out to the local community. By the end of the week the team had delivered nearly 17,000 leaflets to homes, given out 500 balloons, picked two vanloads of litter and made many new contacts.  Invitations to evening meetings resulted in eight people saved and added to the church, with many others expressing an interest in knowing more.
